Streaming Spotify Through Jamcast

Hi all. As the title says, I am trying to stream Spotify from my laptop to my iPhone 3G using OS4.0. I am using Jamcast to do this.

Now, I can stream Spotify using Jamcast to my PS3 no problem, but when I open Plugplayer on the iPhone, I just get hissing instead of the audio. My phone picks up the Jamcast server ok but I just cant hear the music, just the dreadful hissing noise.

I have seen this done on youTube so it is possible.

Anyone have any ideas?

If you having working to the PS3, it sounds like Jamcast is sending some type of encoding the iPhone doesn't like. Can you try switching to a different encoding?
