Plugplayer for PS3

Hello Developer,

Is it possiple to control a PS3 with the Plugplayer? I use the Ps3 for playing mp3s on a surroundsystem and showing movies and photos on the tv.

I would also find it great if you could use two simultaneously render. one in the kitchen and one in the livingroom. I also read the other thread about. But it would be very great.

Currently (as far as I know) the PS3 can read from UPnP servers but does not expose itself as a UPnP renderer. Sorry.

I've had a few requests to control 2 devices at once, however there will be a significant delay between the two so you'd probably hear a bad and annoying echo if you were in a place where you could hear both. There are a few devices on the market that have solved this problem, but typically they have dedicated control points.

it would be nice if PlugPlayer supported XBox. xbox isn't fully DLNA compliant but it's close. It's a big enough install base that it might be worth the custom work from Plugplayer to support it...... please.....

XBox 360 is supported, but you need to load the media extender application.

Is it still impossible to controll a PS 3? It'd be soo wonderful if It is supported. Thanx for developing a great app so far.

As far as I know the PS3 still can't be controlled remotely.
