Playback problems with new release

Postby Leonv01 » Sat Oct 08, 2011 4:44 am

Hi,

I have some playback issues since i have installed version 3.8.0 on my IPod touch. When I play from a folder from my LACIE 2BigNetwork NAS it stops playing after a few songs, even when there more songs in the playlist.

Who can help?

Are you playing the songs back on the iPod touch? or on an external renderer?

Do you know roughly how many minutes pass before it stops? Does it stop after a song has completed, or mid song? Do you still have the problem if the touch is plugged into a charger?

It depends. Sometimes it stops after 2 songs, sometimes after 10. De iPod is plugged into a docking station. In some cases I receive an error code (04) on the i Pod.

Does it stop mid song, or only between songs?

Error 4 is a problem with decoding the audio data (see viewtopic.php?f=6&t=862) Typically that would mean a file that is not supported, and that may cause PlugPlayer to stop between songs.

Does the same playlist of songs stop in the same place every time? or is it different every time? What OS is your iPod running? and do you see the "play" icon in the top right of your iPod?

I' ve tested different playlists and songs in the last couple of weeks, but the problem is still there. Plugplayer stops playing on different times, between the songs and sometimes even after the first song. I have upgraded to the latest version. The iPod is running on software version 5.0.1

And you only sometimes get the error 4? or always when this happens?
Does it ever happen while the screen is unlocked and on?
When you are playing the music, do you see the play icon in the top status bar?
