Plug Player 4.0.1 Not Showing Movie Files

So everything has been fine since 4.0.1 came out, in fact I love plugplayer it Rocks.

But what just started happening is that when i access my folder called movies, some
of them are missing, hard to tell exactly which ones but it seems random, for example
i went to look up some movies that start with ( the ) and most are missing but they are
on the media center, which is the WD live system. I have rebooted the whole system and
the files still will not show up in plugplayer, weird !

Someone else just reported a problem with files starting with "The". We're looking into it.

Yes, the problem has been resolved, but we have not yet set a date for release.

The problem wasn't as bad as we thought; if you read the other thread, it seems the files are there, but they are not in the proper sorted order.

I did wait until the last release which was 4.0.1 plugplayer, but my files are still scrambled. Did this problem ever get resolved ?

Any of the movie files that start with THE are only recognized, only there last name not THE. So for example The Quest will be listed under Q, and The Happening will be under H , etc.....

I have tryed other apps and they work fine, but plug player is the best on the market so i would prefer it.

Right, "The" is not counted in the sorting.

Ok, I understand that now. But is it going to be changed back to the way it was. It worked fine before.
The name of the movies with 'THE' in them are part of the movie name, was there a reason for this ?

The change was requested by many users. Many many songs and movies start with "The", and it's common practice to ignore "The" when sorting.

If this is a problem for you, you can turn off sort/index by changing the advance setting "Index threshold" to a large number.
