Scrobbling to last.fm

I would really really like to see this functionailty added to plugplayer.
When music is streamed to a plugplayer renderer to be able to scrobble music played to a last.fm account.

Unfortunately this is a blocker for me.. if this where possible this would be a Simplify Media and Spotify killer!!
Any news on this?

Any update on this? I too would love to see Last.FM support, lots of other apps do it.

Adding my support for this wishlist item. Being able to scrobble my plugplayer plays would make me very happy =)

Thanks again for a great app! Getting everything set up correctly was a serious job that took tons of research and trial and error (remote streaming of my DNS-323 was the primary goal), but now that its all working - wow!

Yes, last.fm wouldn't license the use of the API except until some restrictions that would make it mostly useless.
