Known Issues
Below you'll find a list of known issues and workarounds. If you hit a problem that isn't on this list, please email us at support@plugplayer.com.
- PlugPlayer may hang when coming back from the iPhone/iPod "lock screen". This is easly avoided by waiting for the "WiFi icon" to appear prior to unlocking the device
- Some media servers hang when trying to download it's description file if it's currently streaming music. PlugPlayer may hang waiting for it.
- Video playback on the iPhone/iPod touch does not support b-frames in h.264 video. Some media servers include b-frames when transcoding videos; if you're having problems playing some videos, please confirm that they do not contain b-frames.
- Personally firewalls can sometimes deny access to the iPhone and PlugPlayer. If PlugPlayer suddenly stops seeing your server or renderer, please check to make sure your personally firewall didn't block it.
